Privacy Policy

Petro Applied Intelligence ("we," "us," or "our") operates petroappliedintelligence.com and provides AI phone receptionist services to businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything else you submit through a form on this site or tell us during a call or email exchange.
- Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page, gathered through standard web server logs. We run no analytics tool.
- Communications. Records of calls, text messages, and emails between you and us, including written transcripts of calls. Call audio is not recorded.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and contact you about our services.
- To send you text messages and place phone calls, including calls using an artificial or prerecorded voice, where you have consented to receive them.
- To schedule, confirm, and remind you of appointments.
- To operate, maintain, and improve this site and our services.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Text messaging and calls
If you provide your phone number and give consent, you may receive text messages and phone calls from us, including messages sent by an automated system and calls placed with an artificial or prerecorded voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance. You may also opt out at any time by emailing alex@petroappliedintelligence.com.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that provide support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories of use exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors that operate our infrastructure — CRM, hosting, telephony, voice, transcription and AI model providers, mapping, email delivery, error monitoring, and payment processing — and that are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets one cookie, pai_wc, which is functional: it holds an anonymous identifier for the web call on the home page so a returning visitor can pick the conversation back up. The same identifier is kept in your browser's local storage. The cookie expires after one year; the local-storage copy has no expiry and stays until you clear it. You can clear both in your browser settings at any time. We use no advertising cookies or pixels and no analytics scripts.
Pages on this site load fonts from Google Fonts, and the home page loads its call client and scroll library from the jsDelivr content network, so those providers receive your IP address and browser details when a page loads. Their own privacy policies govern what they collect. If you pay through a Stripe payment link, Stripe collects your payment details under its own privacy policy.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, to maintain records of consent, and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Call transcripts are deleted after 14 days and text message logs after 90 days. Records of text message consent and opt-out requests are retained as required by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email alex@petroappliedintelligence.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Children
This site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
